April 22 is Earth Day!
Celebrated by millions of people around the world, Earth Day serves as a reminder that every person counts when it comes to safeguarding the health of our planet. Through education and civic participation, all of us can take responsible steps to ensure a clean, healthy, sustainable world. Since Earth Day was first celebrated in 1970, we have made remarkable progress in protecting human health and safeguarding the natural environment. Earth Day is a time to celebrate this progress and to chart a course for accelerating environmental progress in the future. Earth Day, and every day, is a time to act to protect our planet.
