Ambassador Mack Hosts a Briefing for Youth For Understanding (YFU) Finland-U.S. Senate Youth Exchange Program Participants, August 12
A group of thirteen American students participated in this prestigious 7-week YFU program this year and spent seven weeks in Finland touring the country, establishing friendships and promoting mutual respect between Finland and the U.S. In addition to being introduced to Finland, its society, history and culture, and attending high-level meetings with Finnish decision-makers, the students were briefed by Embassy representatives on August 12 about the mission of the U.S. Embassy in Finland as many of the students are considering Foreign Service careers.
