Ambassador Mack Hosts Reception for American Fulbrighters
On August 25, Ambassador Mack and Mrs. Mack hosted a reception in honor of the new American Fulbright grantees. Ambassador Mack remarked that “the Fulbright Program is the U.S. Government’s flagship exchange program. It is without doubt the most important long-term bilateral program we have with the Government of Finland.” Dr Risto Volanen, State Secretary, Prime Minister’s Office, and Ms. Terhi Mölsä, Executive Director, Fulbright Center, also presented their greetings and best wishes to the newly-arrived Fulbrighters. The Embassy was also happy to welcome a visit by the former U.S. Ambassador to Finland, Bonnie McElveen-Hunter.
