Embassy Discusses NATO
Ambassador Ware and Political Chief Greg Thome met with members of the Atlantic Council Youth on Wednesday, October 18, to discuss NATO, Finland’s partnership activities with NATO, and the U.S. position on new NATO members. With the NATO Summit scheduled for Nov. 28-29 in Riga, Latvia, there is increased interest in the future of this organization, long-described as history’s most successful defensive alliance.
