U.S. Embassy Donates over 100 Books on America to the Kajaani Public Library/Kajaani Regional Library
On November 28, Assistant Public Affairs Officer Chad Peterson visited Kajaani to preside over the donation of over 100 books on the United States to the Kajaani Public Library/Kainuu Regional Library. As part of the America@YourLibrary series, the U.S. Embassy is donating over 100 books to five regional libraries in Finland: Rovaniemi, Joensuu, Vaasa, Kuopio and Kajaani. Mr. Peterson also met with the Mayor of Kajaani Erkki Vähämaa and representatives from Kajaani Polytechnic and the Kajaani University Consortium to discuss future academic and cultural exchanges between the United States and Finland.
