Information Management Officer Jamal Lewis briefs Haukilahti High School Students on African-American Culture
On March 14, 2006, Mr. Lewis briefed a class of 27 students from Haukilahti High School, Espoo, about African-American culture. The briefing stretched beyond the most known aspects of African-American history and culture and focused on issues such as Black inventors, Buffalo Soldiers, and voodoo. The students are currently enrolled in an elective class focusing on modern day America. The event was hosted by the American Resource Center.
