Book donation to the North American Studies Program at the Renvall Institute
American Studies programs in Finnish universities are important actors in arenas of research and teaching of historical, literary, social, cultural, and political themes concerning the U.S. On Monday May 11, Chargé d’Affaires Michael Butler from the U.S. Embassy Helsinki presented a donation consisting of books, CDs, DVDs, and three artworks to the Renvall Institute, a centre for Area and Cultural Studies at the University of Helsinki. Professor Markku Henriksson received the collection on behalf of the Institute and the University of Helsinki.
