Presentation on the BASIS Schools Concept
Economists Michael and Olga Block – the co-founders of the renowned BASIS Schools in the United States – gave a presentation on “the BASIS Schools Concept” at the Auditorium of the National Library on Tuesday, August 26, 2008. Tucson’s BASIS Charter School was ranked the number one public school in the United States by Newsweek magazine in 2008. In November 2008, BASIS also made U.S. News & World Report’s first list of America’s top public high schools.
