ASU President-Emeritus Lattie F. Coor and Mrs. Elva Coor visit the American Resource Center
Lattie F. Coor is President-Emeritus, Professor and Ernest W. McFarland Chair in Leadership and Public Policy in the School of Public Affairs at Arizona State University, and is Chairman and CEO of the Center for the Future of Arizona. Lattie Coor has served as a university president for the last 26 years. He was President of Arizona State University from 1990 to 2002, and President of the University of Vermont from 1976 to 1989. Mrs. Elva Coor has been active in the NGO sphere, and while Lattie Coor was president of Arizona State University, she developed the President's Community Outreach Program to build relations between the university and its surrounding community.
During their visit to the American Resource Center on the 19th of September, Mr. Coor participated in a discussion on the American and Finnish systems of higher education and administration.
