Helsinki Art School Students Learn About the Civil War at the American Resource Center
As part of a program on American history offered by the Helsinki Art School, U.S. Embassy Helsinki arranged for Political Officer Robert Jenkins to speak on the U.S. Civil War. The students, who came to the American Resource Center for the lecture, also received a briefing on ARC activities and visited the library. During the Q-and-A the students were also very interested in hearing about President Obama’s healthcare policy and why it is controversial.
