Ambassador Barrett Hosts a Roundtable Discussion on the Impact of Study Abroad for Finns
On December 1, 2008 Finnish Alumni of US universities gathered together for a seminar and roundtable discussion on "Prodigal Students: Examining the impact of study abroad for Finns" hosted by the U.S. Ambassador Barbara Barrett. President Klaus Ilmonen of the Columbia Club Finland's welcoming words were followed by keynote remarks by the Finnish Foreign Minister Alexander Stubb - a U.S. University alumnus himself.
