Application by mail
Please note that all amendments including extra pages are processed at the Embassy in Helsinki. You cannot send your application to the U.S.
You need to complete the appropriate form and send it to the U.S. Embassy in Helsinki. Send the passport, the form, a self-addressed stamped return envelope (4,65 euros) and supporting documents, if applicable, to the Embassy in Helsinki, NOT to any address listed on the application form. Please note that expedited service is not available for U.S. overseas residents. Processing time two days at the consulate plus the mailing time back to you. There is no fee associated with this service.

Application in person
You may leave your application for extra pages at the Embassy’s front gate B (Itäinen Puistotie 14 B) together with your passport. The passport is ready for pick up the following working day after 09:00 a.m., if dropped off before 12 noon. No appointment for this is needed.
