Other Visa Categories
There are a number of visa categories that are not described in detail on this web site primarily because they are so uncommon at the consulate in Helsinki. If you cannot locate information about a particular category, make sure you review the multiple visa types listed under work. Less common categories include Q, S, T, U, and V visas. All of these are special visa categories that require a petition to be filed in the US with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Once the petition is approved, the application is forwarded to the consulate in Helsinki at which time the beneficiaries will be notified.
